What To Expect
Your transfer will take you to the Segway base camp south of the airport, within Punta Cana’s private grounds. At camp, you’ll receive a welcome cocktail and safety instructions and tips on how to maneuver your Segway. First time Segway rider? No problem! Just a few revs back and forth and you’ll have the hang of it in no time.
From our Segway Base Camp we slowly zip north set out through the winding wooded paths of the renowned Punta Cana Ecological Reserve. You can see a wide variety of local flora and fauna including birds, reptiles, insects, and more. We’ll passed several local greenhouses, a bee farm, a farm animal ranch and a sugar cane plantation/exhibition. When the forest cover ends to the east, the scene opens up to the grounds of the former Punta Cana Hotel. A short hike takes us into the Indigenous Eyes section of the reserve, a secluded oasis with 12 fresh water lagoons, surrounded by lush vegetation. Jump in one of the cool refreshing waters of Punta Cana’s famous pristine lagoons!

We had an amazing time on this tour. The segways were very easy to maneuver, thanks to the staff patient enough to teach and guide you all along the trip. We visited a reserve and saw some animals and we swam in a natural lagoon.
Overall, the staffs are the one made this trip wonderful!

There isn’t any better way to get around than a Segway. It was also fun to visit the lagoon. The water is cool and refreshing to plunge in. Compared to the others on offer, the price for this one was incredibly fair.
